The transmitter transmits the signals from the sensor sock wirelessly and in real time to the actuator unit on the stump. By using an ultra-low power connection, you only need to charge the transmitter’s battery once a week.
The actuator transmits the signals as different vibration patterns to the adjacent skin area of the residual limb. As a result, you feel the gait pattern 1:1 when walking and can precisely distinguish the rolling motion of the prosthetic foot.
When walking, you can recognize the surface with your prosthetic foot and distinguish whether it is grass or gravel: more self-confidence, less fear of falling.
High gait stability and safety when walking are the basic prerequisites for regaining regular social participation.

The patented sensor sock records the rolling movement when walking. An intelligent silicone pad or cuff on the thigh transmits this information to the body non-invasively by means of vibration patterns. You feel the gait pattern 1:1 on your residual limb when walking. After a familiarization phase, this leads to a reorganization (reprogramming) of your brain areas and in turn creates depth sensitivity for increased gait stability and safety.
